Black Rock Trial Lawyers Files Lawsuit Against AquaComfort Solutions for Negligence and Violation of Florida Statute
Tampa, FL – March 14, 2025 – Black Rock Trial Lawyers, PLLC, today announced the filing of a lawsuit against AquaComfort Water Group, Inc., d/b/a AquaComfort Solutions, on behalf of their client, Randolph Carlyle. The complaint, filed in the Seventh Judicial Circuit Court in and for Volusia County, Florida, alleges negligence and a violation of Florida Statute §376.205.
According to the complaint, Mr. Carlyle suffered severe respiratory damage after being exposed to a large cloud of blue smoke emanating from improperly disposed pool chemicals at AquaComfort Solutions’ headquarters in DeLand, Florida on February 3, 2025. The incident required emergency medical attention and resulted in lost work time and ongoing medical expenses.
The lawsuit alleges that AquaComfort Solutions’ negligent handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals violated Florida Statute §376.205 and resulted in Mr. Carlyle’s injuries. The complaint seeks compensation for Mr. Carlyle’s medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages.
