How much does it cost to hire the firm to represent you?
It depends on the facts and circumstances of each case. In some instances, we will take a case on contingency, and in other cases we may require an hourly or flat fee retainer. If we take a case on contingency, we charge 40% if the case is resolved before filing suit; if we settle the case during litigation, the fee is 45%. If we take the case on an hourly retainer, an upfront retainer may range between $5,000.00 to $20,000.00.
However, before we offer representation, you must go through an initial intake (approx. 5- 10 minutes to gather the most important information) and after review of the initial intake (may take 3 – 7 days), offer a full consultation. Only after that full consultation will it be determined if we will take on your case and under what type of retainer (Contingency, hourly, hybrid or flat fee).
